Our History

CheapPaymentFees.com was started to make a statement against the unethical, deceptive, and often times corrupt business practices that are unacceptably common in the merchant services industry.

Our founder spent more than 10 years working for the largest "churn & burn" sales offices in America. The ones you find on review sites. These inside sales offices use seemingly low effective rates, disguised by several hidden monthly and annual fees, to generate huge profits.

No wonder more than 20% of merchants leave their processor after just one year.

Why do they do this? To pay for their leads. It's Tom and Jerry. It's a dog chasing it's tail.

We don't pay for leads. We don't have a tail to chase. We are on a mission to put more of your own money in your own pockets.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, former college hockey captain, husband, and proud father of two, Brett Erickson has been a leader in strategic partnerships and high risk merchant services for over a decade.

Having sold more than 2000 merchant accounts, across dozens of processors to hundreds of verticals, allows us to uniquely be positioned, with expertise, to service any business type to the fullest potential.
